Hello from Switzerland! We made it to the summit of the Splügen Pass yesterday and kept on cycling down into Switzerland. The views have literally blown my mind. Unfortunately, the country has also blown my Internet connection. Since Switzerland isn’t in the EU, I don’t enjoy access to my German Internet plan here and can’tContinue reading “LiveTrack outage explained”

We are on the mountain
We were doing better than expected, so we went up half-way on the Splügen Pass and camped. Now it’ll easier tomorrow. Also, some nice Italian couple invited us in and cooked for us. Totally awesome. More details later. Tomorrow, we will finish going up and then go down the other side!

Cheap hotel in Milan
Just checked into a cheap hotel in Milan, after a 157.3km recording-breaking (again) ride. I feel like we are the Beverly Hillbillies. We were searching for our soap and towels to use in the shower. Forgot those are free. Gotta eat now.

Day 5: From Ventimiglia to outside of Genoa
Yesterday we completed our best day of cycling yet. Amazing views, personal records broken, and great food. I know it’s a little out of order but I’ll come back to the other days later. We started the day around Ventimiglia, a town more or less on the Italian border. I transfered trains there during myContinue reading “Day 5: From Ventimiglia to outside of Genoa”
Derailed!
Sorry for the lack of updates lately. Between time (gotta get to sleep, gotta get on the road), Internet troubles, and bike troubles, I haven’t had any time to write any updates. After an amazing day of biking the day before yesterday, yesterday was a total disaster, with my rear deraileuer getting destroyed after theContinue reading “Derailed!”
